The Academy of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a long standing educational organization which was established shortly after the independence of the country was gained. The purpose of the educational institution is to provide training for internal affairs recruits and personnel.

The main objectives of the Academy are:

  • To prepare, train and education internal affairs officer personnel

  • To prepare and train sergeants for internal affairs bodies

  • Research the current problems and issues of public security

  • Research and evaluate topical concerns on crime control

  • Implement advanced information and pedagogic technologies into the training and activities of the Academy to assist in the preparation of internal affairs personnel.

The Academy boasts state of the art equipment and learning facilities and all graduates from this Academy are widely regarded by internal affairs organizations.

There are a range of faculties available for individuals seeking a career under the remit of the Ministry of Interior :

  • Training of specialists with high legal education

  • Higher academic courses

  • Advanced training for officers of internal affairs bodies

  • Higher courses on preparation of sergeants

The training activities provided by the Academy are numerous and are all aimed at educating future MOI personnel. Integrating pedagogical practices and telecommunication tools, theory based education and on the job experiences, the training of each faculty in the Academy is to the highest of standards. Training is performed in such a way as to help instill a range of characteristic traits such as devotion to duty, bravery, professionalism, and psychological stability.
