Entry Requirements

Unless under special circumstances, it is hardly possible to walk out of college and become a manager. It typically takes a combination of relevant work experience and the right education to become a gaming manager. As such, you should complete the following steps:

  • Earn an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in casino management or a closely related field
  • Obtain a license from your state’s gambling commission or control board - This includes paying a licensing fee and submitting photo identification details
  • Find work as a gaming supervisor- This position enable to gain some work experience
