Israel’s healthcare system is continually in a process of transformation and development. Nursing is a very highly regarded profession and the country has a relatively high shortage of nurses in public hospitals, which is why the government is making continued efforts to encourage people to work in this sector. For example, the government is implementing a number of educational programs and has been perceived as being responsible for shaping the Israeli healthcare system and providing professional healthcare services to the population.
