Miami-based law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP recently received a lot of recognition from Human Resource Executive magazine and Lawdragon.com -- a legal news company that publishes yearly guides and lists highlighting the top 500 leading lawyers in America.
Larry J. Hoffman, Mel Greenberg, and Robert Traurig established the international law firm in 1967. The multi-practice firm consists of over 1,700 attorneys and lawyers. The firm’s legal practitioners serve clients from 36 offices in the United States, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.
As one of the world’s most prominent legal firms, it’s no surprise that Greenberg Traurig would be honored for its impeccable leadership.
One San Francisco, CA attorney in particular was listed in the publication “The Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys – Top 100.”
Charles S. Birenbaum is chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Northern California region. As a labor and employment attorney, he “focuses his practice on traditional labor and employment law matters, and has wide-ranging experience litigating in state and federal courts as well as various administrative agencies.” He also specializes in legal disputes related to noncompetition trials, race harassment, and unfair labor practice hearings. He has previously been acknowledged by other organizations including the Chambers USA Guide and The Daily Journal as one of California’s top 75 labor attorneys.
However, Birenbaum is not the only attorney who has been awarded for setting a high standard in the legal industry.
In June, James N. Boudreau-Co-Chair of the Labor and Employment Section’s Class and Collective Action Practice Group-was also recognized in the Top 100 list for his management over teams of attorneys and paralegal. Additionally, Co-Chair of the Global Labor and Employment Practice, Peter W. Zinober, was recognized in Lawdragon’s “Hall of Fame” and Co-Chair of the Business Immigration & Compliance Practice, Laura Foote Reiff, was listed in “The Nation’s Top 20 Employment Attorneys for Immigration.”
Jonathan L. Sulds, Co-Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice in California, mentioned in a statement how the firm only aims to be one of the most superlative international law firms:
“As the firm’s Labor&Employment Practice continues to meet the needs of our clients in an ever-changing global marketplace, it is imperative that we stay ahead of the curve in trends, policies and legislation for our domestic and international clients. This recognition is a reflection of our commitment to offer top notch, cutting edge legal service.”
