Minimum Wage as per July 1st 2012

Every year on July 1st the gross amounts are increased.

Per July 1st 2012 the amounts for emloyees aged 23 or older are as follows:

* € 1.456,20 per month

* € 336,05 per week

* € 67,21 per day

The gross minimum wage rates are stipulated in the provisions of the Minimum Wage and Minimum Holiday Allowance Act (wet minimumloon en minimumvakantiebijslag). An employer has the obligation to pay at least the minimum wage to full-time employees. Also he has to state the gross minimum wage applicable to employees on their pay slip.
