Nursing Careers in Hong Kong

Careers within the healthcare sector in Hong Kong offer excellent long-term training and promotion opportunities. The Nursing Council of Hong Kong is the responsible body for nursing careers. The Nursing Council also provides the minimum entry requirements for candidates seeking to become qualified nurses. These requirements meet the standards outline in regulation 11(a) of the Nurses Regulations and regulation 11 of the Enrolled Nurses Regulations.

The entry requirements outline by the Nursing Council may not exclusively apply for certain nurse training institutions, with many training centers including a variety of other entry requirements to satisfy. The main training institution is the Polytechnic University in Hong Kong.
