Nursing in Morocco

Finding a job as a nurse in morocco is relatively easy and the workforce is regarded as incredibly fluid. In this respect, finding employment in this industry offers a number of benefits and advantages to the individual.

In recent years the Moroccan government has gone to great lengths to improve the overall nursing system, by providing a facility-based birth system free of charge, the provision of essential drugs, blood and equipment, as well as improving access to such facilities in rural areas.

In order to become a nurse in Morocco you will need:

To complete medical school

To be fluent in both Arabic and French

To become registered

Once you have registered you can benefit from:

A competitive salary

Flexible working hours

Pension scheme

Good lifestyle

Many regions of Morocco, including Marrakech, are particularly rich in nursing opportunities. There are opportunities in both private and public nursing jobs, though generally speaking, the benefits are greater if working as a private nurse.

Once you have joined the Moroccan workforce as a nurse you will be in a position to build your way up and gradually increase your salary and overall responsibilities.
