How to Promote Your Online Jewelry Store Offline

If you have an online jewelry store and you are looking for ways to promote it offline, then you have come to the right place. Promoting your jewelry online store offline has plenty of advantages including increasing traffic to your website.

Your site might be very popular but this does not mean that anyone will find your store among other competitors. More importantly, it does not mean that your sales will automatically increase. This is why it is important to promote your online store through offline methods.

How to Promote Your Online Jewelry Store Offline

1. Work With Restaurants and/or Bars

Promoting your online jewelry store offline requires a bit of creativity so rather than going to craft shows, why not approach restaurants or bars? Here’s how it works. Women like going out with their friends and they love to shop. Why not team up with restaurant owners to promote “ladies night”?

Your business will get a lot of attention and consequently your customers will stay longer and enjoy the food and beverages. This is more profit for the restaurant owner and for you. It’s a win-win situation.

2. Host a Jewelry Party

This is a good way to promote and sell your jewelry at the same time. What’s even better is that you won’t be competing against other vendors and jewelers for your customers’ dollars and attention. All you will have is a group of targeted buyers who love jewelry and will encourage each other to shop. It’s possible to make hundreds or even thousands of dollars within the first three hours of your party.

Your guests will feel a lot more relaxed buying from someone they can interact with. Jewelry home parties are easy to organize and it doesn’t have to take all night; organizing a three hour party in an open house format should be enough.

It’s recommended that you sell as much jewelry as possible from the party rather than take orders. This is because you want to keep buyers interested in your jewelry pieces while they are still excited about their purchases.

3. Approach Stores and Boutiques

Like most other businesses, jewelry businesses have slow months where there are no craft shows through which you can promote your pieces. You can still keep your pieces moving by taking them to clothing stores and boutiques. You can agree with the store owner to give them a percentage of the profit for each item sold.

4. Promote Through Good Causes

Apart from traditional avenues, fairs and websites, you can sell your jewelry through good causes. For instance, you can donate through charities. You can team up with a couple of local charities in your local area and agree to donate a percentage of your sales or pay a flat fee for a table at the charity event.

This works because you won’t be competing with other people who are selling similar items and those attending the event will have something different to shop for knowing that part of their purchase will go towards a noble cause.

The jewelry industry can be overwhelming especially if you do not know how to promote your business. Promoting businesses online is currently what’s trending but there are a few people out there who still prefer to shop offline. Promoting your jewelry offline to these people could be the key to increasing your sales. Do you have any other methods of promoting jewelry offline? Share your ideas by commenting below.
