Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security of Argentina, Carlos Tomada, and the general secretary of the Mechanics and Related Motor Transport of the Republic of Argentina (SMATA), Ricardo Pignanelli, signed a framework agreement to continue with the tasks of training for members of the Union. With regards to this, Minister Tomada said: "This is the fourth agreement we signed with SMATA and is part of a line of work that we opened in 2005,"
The Support Program Union Training provides technical and development finance activities aimed at strengthening trade unions, primarily through the formation of his paintings. Its main purpose is to promote increasingly qualified trade union and promote national interest objectives necessary for sustaining economic development with social justice.
This time, the contents of the training program include:
• History of trade unionism and SMATA
• Collective agreements
• Work organization
• Physical environment
• Accidents and their causes
• The health hazards
• Participation of workers
This project is for 350 members of SMATA located in the following areas: Zárate, Santa Fe, Rosario, Córdoba, Resistance, Entre Rios, Santa Cruz, Chascomús, San Luis, CABA, Venado Tuerto and North Zone. The event took place at the headquarters of SMATA, located in Av Belgrano 665.
