How to Stay Connected While Working Remotely [Infographic]

It can be difficult to stay connected with your peers when working out of the office, although it’s not impossible. Here are 7 simple ways to do this.

As a remote employee, it can be difficult to know what’s going on in the office every day. The communication you have with your colleagues at the office is usually limited, and it is nearly impossible to take part in events around the office. For example, you rarely get to celebrate coworkers’ birthdays, and it’s hard to catch up on the latest office gossip.

While all of this can leave you feeling a bit isolated, there are lots of things you can do to ensure you are always up to date with whatever is going on at the office. This great infographic from HeadWay Capital provides some excellent tips on how to stay connected with your office peers while working from a different location. As the infographic shows, you can improve the situation a lot by digitally checking in with your team at regular intervals to let them know that you are working as hard as they are.
