Take Your Marketing Campaigns To The Next Level With These Powerful Books

Have your marketing campaigns hit a roadblock? You need some inspiration to get you back on track.

When it comes to marketing, books serve as reference points for techniques and ethics. Even with the digital age in full swing, books still continue to be the number one choice for readers worldwide.

With that being said, here are 5 books I highly recommend to anyone who wants to take their marketing and business skills to the next level.

1. The E-Myth

This book is all about creating systems and processes that can be scalable. It’s a great book that changed the way I thought about business. It’s about systems and not about just everything all by yourself. The author writes in a simple and direct tone, making it very easy to understand, even without a business degree. Organization is a common theme in this book.

2. The 4 Hour Work Week
Tim Ferris is a pretty controversial figure but that’s what makes this book great. The book might be a bit dated, but the principals are still true. The book really pushes one to become more effective, productive and live fully. There are some great insights about what it really means to make the most out of the time you have every day. It teaches people how to look at the bigger picture.

3. 80/20 Sales and Marketing: The Definitive Guide to Working Less and Making More

The concept of 80% of results come from 20% effort is not new. However, not many people use it because they don’t know how it works. This book covers how to apply this method in business, life and everything else you could possible think of. It also teaches you how not to overdo it or get carried away.

4. Don’t Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability

This book is also a bit dated, but it’s a great book. If you’re thinking about increasing your website’s usability then this is the book I recommend. It elaborates on the importance of function over a great looking design. This is great for people who are too caught up in SEO and forget what websites are really made for.

5. The 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing

This is a classic piece of work. It’s a common sense book that gives you a great overview on marketing. For a crash course on the industry, this really gets the job done. There’s no beating around the bush when it comes to the content found in this book.

Bonus: On Writing Well

I wasn’t an English major in color, and I’ve never really thought of myself as a writer but this book has really helped me become a better writer. It covers the foundation of the skill and how to hone it. The book is a great reference guide for writing.

To conclude, books have withstood the test of time and will continue to effectively inform and update people with the knowledge they need. Even if it’s in a form of an e-book, it still serves the same purpose. In today’s fast-paced world, it is recommended to invest your time wisely. Why not invest it reading one of the books I mentioned above?
