The ACP, NPB, VMHP and ANPV police unions and Minister Opstelten of Security and Justice will shortly resume the formal CAO [collective labour agreement] negotiations.
The police unions and the Minister are confident that further negotiations can lead to a CAO that is acceptable to all parties. That is the outcome of the meetings that took place last week between the negotiators of Security and Justice and the unions. The parties involved intend to finalise a result before 1 June. And finally, the ACP, the NPB, the VMHP and the ANPV wish to emphasise again that the members will have the last word. They determine whether the Minister’s ultimate formal offer is sufficient to conclude a new CAO.
