Former service men and women who are aiming to make a transition from military to civilian life have a variety of required traits that should earn them decent jobs with potential employers. G.I Jobs magazine recently listed top military friendly employers. The listing is on the basis of the rate of new military hires, spouse support and compensation, insurance coverage, retention of military veterans and location. Consider the following organization when looking for an employer.

1. Combined Insurance Company of America

Combined Insurance Company of America is an international company providing supplementary insurance, life, accident, disability and health insurance products. The company bases its operations in Europe, United States, Canada, Latin America and the Pacific. It also has agents in every state.
