The 2015 tech trends as described in this article show us the way forward and help us make our lives a lot easier.

Check out the list of the top 5 tech trends for this year:

#1 Drones

Although a 2014 innovation, these radio-controlled flying machines that look like aliens continue to be a major trend for this year. Generally, ‘drones’ are used as cameras for aerial shots and investigating fire, crime scenes or even searching for missing people. An example is the Parrot AR. Drone which is a flying quadopter helicopter that is designed to be controlled by mobile or tablet iOS and Android operating systems.

Hewlett-Packard, the well-known American information technology corporation, has already started working on becoming the first mainstream 3D printing company. HP plans to introduce two new products as part of the “Blended Reality” vision which involves a new ecosystem designed to blend the physical and digital worlds.

#3 Cloud Computing

Cloud computing has become an essential aspect of modern computing due to its ability to provide data storage and maintenance hosted by a cloud service provider. In essence, it refers to the organisation of groups of remote servers and software networks that allow centralised data storage and online access to specific computer resources. Because of the convenience it provides, cloud computing will probably continue to prevail as one of the top tech trends for another few years to come.
