The government of Argentina’s Department of Employment actively promotes initiatives and schemes to help improve the employability of individuals in the country. This extends to assisting both workers, and those who are currently out of work, with locating a job and gaining skills through training programs.
There are four key areas for the Department of Employment, these include:
Creating and strengthening the actions of the Employment Services Network in order to development job placements
Strengthening the Continuing Education Network in a bid to improve vocational training schemes
Training services and training through the creation and implementation of projects and schemes to enhance the employability and equal employment opportunities for individuals
Assisting and supporting vulnerable individual to obtain and maintain their jobs through the promotion of employment schemes
The Ministry of Work, Employment and Social Security (Ministerio de Trabajo, Empleo y Seguridad Social - MTEySS) strives to create and provide continuous training opportunities for individuals in Argentina as a way of supporting them in retaining quality jobs.
The MTEySS works to identify key skills of certain industries, and skill shortage areas required by sectors in Argentina; upon identification of the key skills required, the MTEySS implements the necessary training programs.
