Not an early bird? Take forever to wake up in the mornings? If so, the new app "Wake N Shake" could be the end to all your problems.
Hitting the snooze button is effortless and a quick way to turn off the horrible sound of your alarm and catch a few extra minutes in bed. Shaking your phone like you're mixing a cocktail however is a much more strenuous way of turning off our alarms.
Wake N Shake, is designed to get your head off the pillow and your blood pumping. Once it goes off, you have to rattle your phone until the "shake meter" fills up — or else it resets. That meter could take a while to load, too, depending on the difficulty level you set before you went to sleep. The higher the level, the more vigorous your shakes will have to be to shut off the alarm.
The new app is now available in the App Store for only $1.99. Wake N Shake keeps track of the number of days in a row that you managed to wake up by awarding achievements, including "hat trick" for three straight days and "shake domination" for 10 days. You can also catch a short snooze by using its "quick nap" feature, which lets you select however many minutes you want to rest, and the alarm will set accordingly.
Wake N Shake, which is optimized for iPhones but also works on Android, isn't the first gamified alarm clock. FreakyAlarm plays an array of irritating sounds that won't shut off until you solve a set of math problems, or stumble through a photo scavenger hunt.
The new Wake N Shake app created by Apple will definately make you a morning person whether you like it or not!
