What we can learn from Robin William's Memorable Quotes

Robin Williams died yesterday at age 63. Williams had been struggling with drug and alcohol abuse all through his career, and had checked into rehab most recently this year. He was renowned for his improvisational skills and dramatic performances in Good Will Hunting, Mrs Doubtfire, Good Morning Vietnam, Jumanji and many other comic movies.

His passing still remains a shock to many fans and he will be missed. However he doesn’t die in our hearts as his memorable quotes still live on. Here are some of his quotes that you can learn from and will possibly inspire you in the climb to excell in your career.

You have this idea that you’d better keep working otherwise people will forget. And that was dangerous. And then you realize, no, actually if you take a break people might be more interested in you

It is never how hard you work but how smart. Learn to be more productive and pay attention to other elements in your life as much as you do to your work.

I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people that make you feel all alone

Relationships are vital to your success. Never ignore the positive impact relationships can play.

You’re only given one little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it

Ideas will make you a success. And ideas are not ‘everywhere’. Make sure you are attentive and always take advantage of your wonderful ideas.

"I don’t have a college degree, and my father didn’t have a college degree, so when my son, Zachary, graduated from college, I said;

I don’t have a college degree, and my father didn’t have a college degree’ so when my son, Zachary, graduated from collegeI said; My boy’s got learnin

Always value the importance of learning. It will help define who you will become.

A woman would never make a nuclear bomb. They would never make a weapon that kills. They’d make a weapon that makes you feel bad for a while

How much do you value the importance of women as either a workmate, a business partner or an advisor? You should approach the knowledge or the input a woman can make to your success.

My god! I have on nothing but Google Glass. And I’m downloading as we speak

Always take advantage of what technology has to offer. Do not limit yourself to the old fashion way of doing things.

You will have bad times, but they will always wake you up to the stuff you weren’t paying attention to

Challenges happen in business and life, but they should serve as a learning point and not a devastating moment.

I started doing comedy because that was the only stage that I could find. It was the pure idea of being on stage. That was the only thing that interested me, along with learning the craft and working, and just being in productions with people

We all have a career that will bring out the best in us. We should find out what we are good at and try to find joy in it as we perfect it.

How do you view the comical genius? Please comment in memory of Robin Williams.
