Why Multitasking is Bad [Video]

Despite popular belief, multitasking isn’t a skill you should boast about. Studies have found that multitasking has the potential to not only damage your brain but your entire career. Research from Stanford University confirmed that multitasking is less productive than doing one thing at a time. According to the study people who often multitask perform poorly because they cannot pay attention, struggle to recall important information and often switch between tasks.

This video from Business Insider explains the dangers of multitasking and how working on more than one thing at the same time affects your job performance, productivity levels and ultimately your career.
