Working for South Australia Police (SAPOL)

The South Australia (SA) Police Department offers candidates a long and rewarding career with many employee benefits. The recruitment process:

There are six main steps involved in the recruitment process for SAPOL, these are listed below:

  1. Candidates will sit an entrance examination

  2. There will then be a panel review

  3. Medical examination must be passed

  4. Computer testing

  5. Physical and agility testing will then commence

  6. The final stage is ‘selection’

Once you have been ‘selected’ as a recruit for SAPOL, you will be enlisted into the training academy which is designed to test recruits both mentally and physically.
