Working for the Slovakian Police Force

The Slovakian Police Force is part of the Ministry of Interior and makes up a large percentage of the Main Headquarters of Slovakia’s police force. They are a combination of eight regional headquarters, 45 district police headquarters and a number of educational and specialized police institutions.

The Slovakian Police Force offers candidates a long and rewarding career with a number of employee benefits. Nevertheless in order to be successful in gaining employment within this industry it is important to pass a stringent recruitment process that involves:

  • Sitting and successfully passing an entrance examination
  • Successfully passing a medical examination
  • Performing a fitness and agility test
  • Passing the selection process

Once you have passed the selection process you will be enlisted into the relevant training program of the strand of the police force that you wish to enter into.
