Several studies have shown an increase in cognitive function after playing video games. More specifically, after conducting a survey, scientists noticed that the brains of the participants who played video games 30 minutes a day for 2 weeks saw an increase of grey matter in areas associated with memory, problem solving (action games), strategic planning and fine motor skills, in contrast to those participants who didn’t play video games. Playing video games could actually help your career instead of hinder it by helping you increase your skills.
