1. Apply as an Intern

For those living in the UK, RSA Insurance offers an 8-week paid internship, running from July to September.

Interns receive a formal induction to RSA, meet professionals in the industry, receive hands-on training and real-life experience, and earn a paycheck. Once former RSA interns graduate from school, those with excellent performance are likely to receive a job offer.

  • To be on track to receive 2:1 or higher in your degree

Also ONLY available in the UK, the RSA Insurance Apprenticeship programme provides students and graduates with experience in the field of underwriting, risk assessment, policy creation, and more. RSA will sponsor apprentices, help them pass exams, and promote their careers. If you can become an RSA apprentice, you’re very likely to have a good career with the company.

  3. Fill out the application and submit it

3. Apply in Your Country

Did you know that RSA Insurance has job positions available in more than 20 countries around the world?

The RSA Group website has links to the different RSA pages for each country, and you can visit the website for your country and apply directly. You will find a list of all the job openings in your country, and all you need to do to apply for the job is:

  1. Find the listing that you are best suited for
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Apply for Job"
  3. Register for an account and fill out all the pertinent information
  4. Add your CV or resume
  5. Submit

4. The Interview

Once you submit your resume/CV, the interviewer will usually take up to two weeks to contact you. You will usually take part in a 30 to 60-minute interview over the phone.

If you are selected for a face-to-face interview, you’ll be given a time and date. The interview will last between one and three hours, and you will undergo a range of real-life tests, a psychometric assessment, and a more informal meeting to gauge you as a person.
