Malala Yousafzai - Inspiration for Young People

Malala Yousafzai, the 16-year-old Pakistani blogger and author of I Am Malala, appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Tuesday, the eve of the one year anniversary of when she was shot by members of the Taliban on her way home from school.

In the clip below, when asked what she would do if she was again approached by a member of the Taliban, who have threatened to attack her again, the brave teen stated that she would not respond with force.

Yousafzai is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, which will be awarded on Friday. If 16-year-old Malala Yousafzai wins the Nobel Peace Prize it will confirm her as a heroine, an inspiration for millions of children who long to go to school.
