Paulo Portas announces Investments of 157 Million Euros

The Minister of State, Minister for Foreign Affairs Paulo Portas announced investments in the Portuguese economy, which in total, «reach 157 million euros that provide for the creation of 352 jobs and significantly assist in the maintenance of 4,108 jobs». The Portuguese government will provide tax incentives amounting to ten percent of this investment, about 15 million euros.

"This is a new series of eight investment contracts, seven of which signed with AICEP and one with IAPMEI (Institute of Support to Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation)", stated Paulo Portas.

Paulo Portas made ​​the announcement as the Minister responsible for the Portuguese Agency for Investment and External Commerce (AICEP), in conjunction with the Ministry of Economy.
