The secret is a philosophy which acts as a compass for many, a directional guide to our chosen paths, adopted by people of all nationalities across the world.
The idea presents the concept that we have a connection with an energy force. It is in our thoughts and our feelings that give us the ability to control this energy. It explains that if we focus our thoughts on something particular, it will actually attract a corresponding energy. For example if you have negative thoughts, you will attract negativity to yourself.
However, if your thoughts and feelings are positive, you will attract positive things. Originally the secret was a book, which centered on these primary categories:
- Defining the secret
- How to use the secret in your lifestyle
- The Secret to money
- The Secret to relationships
- The Secret to wealth
- The Secret to the world
- The Secret to you
- The Secret to life
The Secret focuses largely on the Law of Attraction; everything in your life, you have attracted. It has been attracted to you by virtue of the concentration to which you hold your mind. It is what you think it will be.
Apply it to your workplace
The places you visited with the people you met that shared smiles with you, would be different without you. People are all connected; in turn we are each affected by the decisions made by others in our social lives in and outside of our workplace. Theories show the law of attraction states that you have attracted the things around you, like your career.
We presume that unhappy and happy people are all simply born that way. Regardless of our presumptions both categories of people make choices as do you, which impact their own wellbeing. People who seem happy probably let themselves walk through life just being happy. Unhappy people attract the negative pieces of their own puzzle based on their perception. Overly competitive people who focus on the desire to win win win, will enjoy a lesser variety of things. If they don’t win they are disappointed and if they do then it’s simply something they expected.
When reviewing if you are happy in work, also consider how you would like to go forward. Take for example the four tires which drive your car, they need to be aligned properly; failing this the wheels will be pointing in a different direction and the car won't drive in a straight line. Your ambitions are the same. When they are centered and focused with direction, your goals will not conflict and they will take you to wherever you choose to go.
Our feelings of dissatisfaction or indeed satisfaction in our careers both stem from our roots which we naturally use to compare ourselves to others. Comparing our lives with those who have less makes us feel grateful. If we compare ourselves to those enjoying more from life we feel worse, the truth is we are all equal in our lives.
If we can harness the positive energy taken inside from our positive thoughts, we can regulate our own manifestations using The Secret; “The law of attraction doesn't care whether you perceive something to be good or bad, or whether you don't want it or whether you do want it. It's responding to your thoughts. So if you're looking at a mountain of debt, feeling terrible about it, that's the signal you're putting out into the Universe. ‘I feel really bad because of all this debt I've got’. You're just affirming it to yourself. You feel it on every level of your being. That's what you're going to get more of.”
Compare your lifestyle with these examples, but ones which make you feel comfortable with what it is you have attracted into your own life. The law of attraction states that the decisions you make in your career, lifestyle or chosen path acts as a catalogue for the things you have around you. This can be used to change your life, use it to have fun! Make a list of the things you want; the ideal job or perfect lifestyle, focus on a direct approach and visualize having them.
Believe you will have them. You will eventually use this law to bring them to you.
