The Perfect Answer to ‘Tell Me About Yourself’ [Video]

If you are going to a job interview Tell Me About Yourself is one of the toughest questions that you can be asked .Here's the answer you need to give.

Tell me about yourself’ is usually the first question you are asked in a job interview and this is why you should thoroughly prepare for it. While there is no one way of answering the question, the way you respond is crucial because it sets the scene for the rest of the interview. Depending on your answer, the interviewer will then ask more questions. For example if you are talking about your education, the next question that will come up will be something related to that. This is how it goes, and you should learn how to use this to your advantage.

This video from Antony Stagg provides some excellent advice on what you need to do to answer this question effectively. Just like Stagg says, it’s always good to focus on these three main points – education, employment and skills. When you start talking about these things, you can’t go wrong because these are the things employers are interested in.
