One of the biggest problems graduates face is that their skills gap is often an obstacle in the job search process and this is why it’s perhaps wiser to start by looking at graduate schemes and top graduate employers. Most of the companies that offer such programmes have a lot of experience working with graduates and are ideally suited for people who are looking to get a head start in their industry.

1. PWC

Industry: Accounting and Professional Services

PwC is a multinational professional services network based in the UK. It’s the second largest professional services provider in the world, and it has a great reputation as an employer. Amongst the many benefits you can expect in PwC is their generous time off policy, while they are also committed to supporting the communities where they are based.

About the Programme:

As a graduate in this industry, you really can’t do better than this company. They have an impressive portfolio which means that you’ll get the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s most important clients. At the same time, they offer excellent training and you’ll find that there are many opportunities for movement within the company and abroad.

2. Aldi

Industry: Retail

Aldi, the discount supermarket, is one of the most reputable global retailers. Aldi has a reputation for offering salaries that are generally above industry standard, and they have also created a company culture where employees are always encouraged to give feedback. 6. KPMG
