Once you decide to make a change in your life, there are plenty of resources and techniques to help you get from point A to B.
Elle, Reese Witherspoon's character in Legally Blonde faces one change in her life (going to law school). Of course she feels scared, of course she was not sure about it, but she tried her best and with sheer determination she got the results she wanted by graduating top of her class.
Here are some lessons we can learn from the movie:
#1 You have to decide that you are worth investing in…. Today is the day that you can start making your dream a reality. Get out of your funk and make the decision to invest in you, you are worth it and you have to prove it!
#2 Small steps really do add up to big leaps over time. No matter what obstacles – real or imagined – lay in front of you, you need to believe in yourself enough to make your dreams come true. Imagine in six months or a year completely transforming your life.
- Being in a new job that fills you with energy and makes you feel like you’ve “found your people”.
- Standing up for yourself at work and get what you want and deserve.
- Restoring your stamina and enjoying your life again.
#3 Have determination. No matter how hard something can be at the beginning, you have to keep on trying and never give up. To be successful you have to have determination and remain positive.\
#4 Believe in yourself. You can do it. You do not have to pay attention to what other people think about you. Stand out from the crowd and be different.
#5 Help people and people will help you.
"A dream doesn't become reality through ma gic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work." - Colin Powell
