You’re Welcome

Ireland is very welcoming to foreigners. Anyone coming into the country from the EU or Australia does not require a visa or work permit to live, work or study in the country. However, foreigners from other countries must apply for a visa in their home country or upon landing in Ireland depending on where they are located. Ireland’s government offers online support services making it easy for you to plan your move.

Fresh Food

Ireland is a large food producer. The country receives rain all year round ensuring they have fresh produce all year long. The food markets all over the country offer an array of farm produce, including a wide selection of organic food. You also get your meat and animal produce fresh from one of the world’s largest exporters of food.

Amazing Scenery

Ireland is one of the most scenic places in the world. The tiny island is home to hundreds of castles open to the public all year round. Additionally, you can access some of the most incredible places in the country in an hour or less from all the major cities for a weekend getaway or a night out.

World Class Education

Apart from the low tax rates, leading tech companies cannot resist the highly educated Irish workforce. Ireland’s education system guarantees that you will work with educated individuals who challenge you to become better at everything you do. You will also have access to some of the best institutions for you and your family from kindergarten right through to graduate studies.

No Room for Average

In Ireland, hard work is a way of life. The Irish pursue their dreams with passion and scale the heights to become the best whether it is in sports, academics or art. Ireland has produced actors and film directors who have gone on to make it big in Hollywood, gold, horseracing, and other fields. It is therefore no surprise that Ireland is among the top 10 wealthiest nations in the world.

Flowery Language

The Irish use their accent and slang proudly and dislike it when foreigners correct them or laugh. If an Irishman asks, ‘Do you want a bit of craic tonight?’ prepare yourself for a fun night that will not involve drugs. The person is just talking about a crazy night of Irish fun. Another interesting fact is the use of pun in Irish storytelling when describing events; do not take offense.

Religion Is Important

Religion is an integral part of Irish culture. They use their beliefs as a framework for their lives with strict observance of practices such as baptism for children, confirmation for teens, and then marriage and religious funerals later in life. A majority of the population practices Catholicism.
