  • Isolation may be experienced if you are there without your family or friends
  • If you are taking your family with you, they may struggle to adjust to a new environment
  • Too many unforeseen issues with where you live
  • Many of the work assignments are relatively short term (if you are looking for a more permanent solution to moving abroad, this could be more difficult than anticipated
  • You may find yourself thinking about your home country and the opportunities that you might be missing out on out there
